Every summer, the Margaretville Fire Department hosts the annual Fourth of July Field Days. The week-long event, held in the village park behind Freshtown, features fireworks, live entertainment, and carnival rides and games from Gillette Shows. The Field Days brings the whole community together. The carnival is also our department’s main fundraiser: Proceeds from the ticket sales, raffles, and donations on the nights of fireworks help fund our mission all year long.
For 2021, we will be hosting a full-scale Field Days event from Tuesday, June 29 through Sunday, July 4, with fireworks Saturday and Sunday evening.
