Supporting women in the workplace through building self-confidence is the goal of a half-day conference hosted by the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce on November 2.
“EmpowHER: Stepping Into Your Power” will bring together dozens of women and men to identify their strengths and find clarity on their next steps as they make impacts in their careers.
The program will be held at Catskills Junction on Railroad Avenue in Stamford, starting with registration and networking at 9:30 am. Following welcoming remarks and a keynote address from SUNY Delhi Acting President Dr. Mary Bonderoff, interactive workshops, presented by Mitzi Sackett and Amy Warner, will introduce practical strategies to reduce self-defeating language and build personal confidence. The program will conclude with facilitated table-top discussions during lunch. The fee to participate is $35 and includes all program materials, mid-morning snacks, and lunch.
